On your first visit to Washington Chiropractic, you will be asked to supply us with health history information. You will then read two informational pamphlets which will help to answer your questions about chiropractic and the office. Then, you will have a one-on-one consultation with the doctor. If you desire an examination at that point, an examination will be performed. The doctor will perform any and all necessary examinations and testing to determine exactly what your problem is. If chiropractic care can help you he will tell you before any treatment is considered, if you do not have a problem that chiropractic can help he will tell you who can. Following the examination, if your problem is one that the doctor can help and the doctor feels that x-rays are necessary he will discuss this with you, and they will be taken in the office.
No chiropractic treatment will be performed without your consent at any time. You will be given the choice at all times to continue with any examinations or treatments. On your second visit,
after the examination and
x-rays (if taken) have been evaluated, the doctor will discuss his findings with you. After further discussion of your problem the doctor will explain chiropractic treatment to you. Following that, the doctor will begin your treatment.
Types of Care
At Washington Chiropractic the patient always chooses the type of care they would like. In our office we offer relief care, corrective care, and maintenance care. Once the patient has chosen the type of care they would like, the doctor will recommend a plan for achieving their goals.
